Our flagship gathering

The Amplify Conference

The Amplify Conference remains the heart-beat gathering of the movement.

Scheduled to be held every two years, the conference exists to:

  • renew leaders and communities engaged in ministry,
  • deepen theological reflection for faithful mission,
  • strengthen relationships across the region,
  • and affirm that inclusive Christian witness is a vital expression of the gospel.

The Amplify Conference is more than a standalone event. It is a place of convergence—where relationships formed locally and online are deepened, where stories are shared, and where the wider Amplify Network gathers to discern how it will respond faithfully to the call ahead.

2026: a partnered expression

Organised by Tongkwang Lighthouse Presbyterian Church, supported by Amplify.

For 2026, Amplify discerned that the best way forward was through partnership rather than duplication. Instead of convening a separate Amplify Conference, Amplify supported and participated in the International Queer Alliance Christian Conference (IQACC) on 1–3 May 2026, hosted by Tongkwang Lighthouse Presbyterian Church in Taipei, as the primary regional gathering for the year. The gathering also marked Tongkwang’s 30th anniversary and was intentionally expanded to serve an international and multilingual audience across the Asia Pacific region.

This decision reflected Amplify’s commitment to:

  • shared leadership and mutual support among inclusive churches,
  • steward energy and resources wisely,
  • strengthen regional partnerships, and
  • embody a collaborative, relational, and missional ecclesiology.

The heart of the Amplify Conference continues whenever communities gather across borders to worship, learn, discern, and bear faithful witness together.

Looking ahead

Planning for 2027

From 31 October to 2 November 2026, we're gathering in Taipei with Tongkwang Lighthouse Presbyterian Church to look back on Amplify in 2026 and set our priorities for 2027.

Have an idea for what Amplify should support next year? Send us a proposal by Wednesday 28 October 2026.
